Breathe With Both

Prayers for the

“Prayer Rope for Unity”

The Cross:

Lord, Jesus Christ, You sent Your twelve apostles into the world to be fishers of men, to establish your one, holy, catholic and apostolic church and to spread Your Good news. May we, your humble servants, surrender our will to be one with Yours as we pray:

The First Wooden Bead:

Our Father, Who art in heaven,

Hallowed be Thy Name.

Thy Kingdom come.

Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil. Amen.

First & Last Twelve beads:

Oh Sacred Heart, whose children partook of the forbidden fruit and fell into original sin, nourish our souls with [Fruit of the Holy Spirit**see below]. Amen.

Four Wooden Beads:

O Mother of God, O Theotokos! By your holy and all powerful prayers, by your mighty prayers cleanse our clouded minds and our bruised hearts. Help us become one with the mystical body that formed within thy womb, your Son, Jesus Christ. That we may all be in unity. That we may all be in accordance with your Son’s will. Amen.

Beads in pairs of Three:

Lord Jesus Christ, who prayed that we might all be one, help us to hope beyond all hope. Amen.

End Prayer on Cross:

THE APOSTLE'S CREED
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified; died, and was buried. He descended into Hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
